KOVOKON spol. s.r.o. is a modern machinery company with experienced experts, production capacities and stable background.

The company KOVOKON Popovice, s.r.o. was established in 1998 and since its founding it has specialized in serial production of high-precision metal components. The company emerged from the activities of an association of four physical persons who had been doing business since 1990 on the basis of their trade certificates. These partners are relatives (father and three sons).

Machine equipment of the association was gradually extended by universal working machines on which accidental jobs were realized, as well as the production of spare parts for Multicar minitrucks. Similarly to a majority of like small businesses in the field of metal working, the association did business in a „garage way“, with a low degree of competitiveness.

A significant turn came in 1994, when the company started with the application of modern technological procedures and manufacturing technologies which enabled the company to innovate the product line existing at that time, mainly in the area of precision of machining of a required shape with the simultaneous significant increase in efficiency. The company invested in modern technological equipment.

By addressing major customers, especially in the field of electrotechnical industry, the company started cooperation with prominent customers, which has lasted until the present. In 1999, the company successfully introduced the system of quality according to ISO 9002 and in January 2003 it was followed by ISO 9001, which significantly increased the quality of supplied parts and helped the company in gaining new clients.

In 2004, the company implemented the system of quality management according to the standard ISO/TS 16949, and in 2005, the system of management according to EMS ISO 14001 was introduced. In 2005, the company won the "SAFE COMPANY" award and in 2008 it was also certified according to the OHSAS 18001 standard. In March 2011, the company implemented the system of quality according to AS9100 necessary for the aviation industry.
